Coming from the M4 and Severn Bridge

Take the M4 to the New Severn Crossing. Exit at Junction 24.

At Junction 24 (the Newport/Monmouth exit), take the A449 north towards Monmouth (dual carriageway).

After about 12 miles, take second exit off the A449 due west onto the A40 sign-posted to Abergavenny and Raglan. At the next roundabout, follow the A40 (dual carriageway) towards Abergavenny.

At the two large roundabouts outside Abergavenny, take the A465 due north sign-posted to Hereford. Do not follow the A40, and do not go into Abergavenny. Continue on the A465 for about 7 miles until you reach the village of Pandy.

At the end of the village is the Pandy Inn. Turn left here. The road is signposted to "Walterstone and Longtown".

For Clodock, stay on this road as it passes under a railway bridge (100 yards) and bear right towards Longtown.

Follow this road for some 2 ½ miles, until you reach the Church of Clodock (St Clydoc).  At the Church, turn right past the "Cornewall Arms" pub and over a small bridge. Continue up the hill for about ½ mile. You will see a large dry-stone barn on the left.  Parking is up the access immediately in front of the barn.

 

Coming from Hereford

From Hereford, take the A465 past Ewyas Harold and towards the village of Pandy.

As you descend towards Pandy, turn right at the Pandy Inn. The road is signposted to "Walterstone and Longtown". Stay on this road as it passes under a railway bridge (100 yards) and bears right towards Longtown.

Follow this road for some 2 ½ miles, until you reach the Church of Clodock (St Clydoc). At the Church, turn right past the "Cornewall Arms" pub and over a small bridge.

Continue up the hill for about ½ mile.

You will see some large dry-stone barns on the left. Parking is immediately in front of the barns up the access ramp.  

 

Note: Sat-Nav will take you to the bottom of the hill by the Church. Follow the road up the hill from there.

There is a large parking area to accommodate up to 50 vehicles and there are disabled facilities.

 

 

Public Transport to the Barns

 

Trains:

We have a very good service that connects Manchester, Cardiff and London to Abergavenny which is only eight miles south of where we are.

From London Paddington there are two trains leaving every hour and journey time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. for more information on train times call 08457

484950 or visit Nation Rail Enquires.You have to change at Newport and take the Arriva train to Abergavenny.
