It is just under a month to go until we welcome the return of the wonderful Opera Project team with their new production of Rigoletto.  Robin and I have particularly loved this opera since first seeing  Jonathan Miller's production at the ENO in the early 80's.  Despite the tragic story, the music (if you don't already know it) is powerfully moving, with some of the best known arias of all Verdi's operas, including what many regard as one of the best quartets ever concieved.  If you don't already know the story have a look at Robin's synopsis. -   Rigoletto - the Plot )

We do still have a few ticekts left although both performaces are selling fast.  This really is a unique experience due to the intimacy of the barn and the high quality of the performance.  Bring a picnic to enjoy with friends, all in the dry shelter of our lovely barns or in our garden with views of the Black Mountains and Offa's Dyke!
