Gala Opera Evening with Champagne Reception - Saturday 15th from 5pm
As many of you already know, we are passionate about music, and opera in particular. So, when the Royal Welsh College offered us the opportunity to collaborate with them to raise funds to finance a student scholarship, we jumped at it. The result is that we are hosting a Gala Opera evening with a welcoming champagne reception and a delightfully mixed programme that showcases the extraordinary talents of these young artists. This will include pieces from operas by Mozart, Rossini and Donizetti (amongst others), as well as a selection of lighter music for a summer’s evening.
In the dinner interval we will gather in the candlelit dinner barn (chairs and tables provided). If you are travelling from afar, we have teamed up with our good friends at Black Mountains Smokery to supply a choice of hampers (at £50 for a picnic for two) to be enjoyed during the dinner interval. You can choose and order one from us ahead of time, so that it is available to be collected at the start of the evening Hampers . Of course you are also welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Wine will also be available if you do not wish to BYO.
