Come and join us for a truly wonderful holiday, exploring this beautiful and remote part of the world, with an optional bonus of two yoga sessions a day.
Between morning and evening yoga sessions there will be opportunities to spend your day either relaxing or joining any of the planned day trips: exploring the surrounding area, visiting local craft and food producers, enjoying beautiful walks through ancient beech forests, cooking on an open fire, visiting shepherds in the mountains, taking a horse and cart ride through the mountains and visiting a local market or two.
The holiday will start when we meet in Lviv, a beautiful and historically fascinating city with wonderful museums and a beautiful opera house.
From there we travel to Nizhnie Selishche a charming remote farming village where we stay for the next seven days. We will start every morning with a gentle yoga practise (suitable for all standards even if you have never done any yoga before and not compulsory) followed by a substantial breakfast to prepare you for the planned outing of the day.
When we return in the late afternoon you can either take part in a restorative and relaxing yoga practice or rest before dinner. On our last evening there will be a farewell party with Ukrainian traditional music and dancing and of course lots of toasting with local wines and vodka!
We finish back in Lviv where, for a memorable last evening, we dine at one of the best restaurants in town. On the last morning we have a private tour of the icon museum, followed by a delicious lunch at a charming, family run restaurant, that specialisies in Galacian cuisine before saying our farewells.
Experienced local guides will be on hand throughout your stay to help ensure your holiday runs smoothly and is full of wonderful and unique experiences.
